The John Sutch Cranes team were on site at Nord Mardix in Bamber Bridge this week, delivering another expertly executed lift that showcased precision planning and teamwork in action.

Using our 55t Liebherr LTM 1055, the crew carried out the careful loading of 9.5 tonne skids to transport, employing a 1 × 9m top beam to 2 × 4m bottom beams in a 4-leg endless web configuration.
This configuration required close coordination between our technical and site teams to ensure accuracy, balance and safety throughout the lift.
The lift was planned and organised by Mick Turner, our expert Technical Sales Representative, who managed the pre-lift preparation and logistics before handing over to the on-site team.
“This one was all about careful preparation - getting the configuration spot on so the lads could get in, set up, and execute safely,” said Mick.
“Once the plan was in place, the team did what they always do best — carried it out with precision.”
With years of experience behind every project, the John Sutch Cranes team bring a problem-solving mindset to every lift - combining detailed lift planning, technical knowledge, and hands-on skill to deliver safely and efficiently.
From Bamber Bridge to projects right across the UK, it’s that combination of planning, teamwork and pride that continues to set Team Sutch apart.
Another great example of the expertise and dedication that keeps sites moving safely, efficiently, and on time.
