New modular office anyone?

John Sutch Cranes' 450 was out again in Yorkshire delivering a modular lift for one of the UK's biggest infrastructure groups

An expert operations team from John Sutch Cranes' Manchester depot recently deployed our Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 for a modular office installation in South Yorkshire.

Working alongside a major Tier 1 construction contractor, our team expertly positioned fully-assembled office units with millimetre accuracy.

The operation was meticulously planned and executed by our Manchester depot, with Martin Strickson serving as Appointed Person for this specialised lift.

Modular construction is transforming commercial development by delivering:

  • Faster project completion timelines
  • Enhanced site safety
  • Significantly improved sustainability metrics
  • Reduced waste and environmental impact
  • Modular buildings can be completed 30-50% faster than traditional construction
  • Simultaneous site preparation and module fabrication significantly shortens project timelines
  • Faster return on investment and reduced revenue loss during construction

And to lift them into the exact precision and do it safely means we're ideally placed to get involved and assist.

Hayley Sutch, Designate Managing Director, at John Sutch Cranes, said:

"Modular construction represents the future of commercial building, combining efficiency with sustainability. At John Sutch Cranes, we're proud to provide the precision lifting expertise that makes these innovative projects possible. Our team's ability to plan and execute these complex lifts with absolute precision is what sets us apart in the industry."
