John Sutch Cranes has been lifting timber frame kits into place for Barratt Homes as work gathers pace on the first showhomes in Widnes.
Our Liverpool-based Liebherr all-terrain crane from the John Sutch fleet has been on site lifting wall and floor panels straight from the delivery stack onto the scaffolded plots. Each panel is slung, lifted and landed on the upper floors, where the frame erectors fix it in place.
Timber frame builds rely on the crane to keep the programme moving. Kits arrive on site ready to go, and every lift made safely and on time is another step towards a finished home. We were here on Day 1 for our client on a programme that will run for two years.
The showhomes are the first homes buyers will walk through at the development, so getting the frames up on schedule matters to everyone on site.
