When Liverpool ONE's spectacular Christmas decorations light up the city centre each November, there's some serious lifting work happening behind the scenes – and John Sutch Cranes is proud to be part of the team making the magic happen.
This year, our 40-tonne Liebherr mobile crane played a crucial role in preparing Liverpool ONE for its festive transformation, including the installation of the impressive 25-metre Christmas tree on Chavasse Park, sparkling reindeer displays, giant baubles, and festive illuminations that will welcome thousands of visitors throughout the season.
With our experienced operator Ian on the levers, the team worked efficiently and safely to position the large-scale decorations and festive installations across the iconic shopping destination. From lifting the towering centrepiece tree into position to carefully placing illuminated features around the precinct, precision and expertise were essential to ensure everything was ready for Liverpool ONE's Christmas Toy Parade launch on 15 November.
The festive installation is just one example of the seasonal work we undertake each year. Liverpool ONE's Christmas festivities run from 7 November through to the New Year, featuring the 25-metre tree, Bar Hütte, family-friendly rides, Festive Fun Thursdays, and the magical Christmas Toy Parade produced by Walk the Plank – a free event featuring over 100 local children bringing festive cheer to the streets.
