Another Day, Another Community Built

John Sutch Cranes supports vital housing development at South Parade, Speke

It's early morning at the South Parade development in Speke, Liverpool, and the John Sutch Cranes team is already on site. Their 55-tonne Liebherr LTM1055-3.2 is positioned, prepped and ready to keep the project moving.

This isn't the headline-grabbing stuff – not the 450-tonners or the massive infrastructure lifts that fill the feeds.

But make no mistake: this work is just as important. These housing developments are what keep Britain building, and it takes skilled operators, proper coordination and a serious fleet to keep them moving safely and efficiently.

The Project: 92 Homes for Liverpool

South Liverpool Homes, with support from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram, is delivering 92 brand-new homes at South Parade – a mix of bungalows, houses and apartments designed for a range of tenures including social rent, affordable rent, shared ownership and Rent to Buy.

It's the kind of development that makes a real difference to communities. And behind every beam lifted, every panel positioned, and every phase completed on time, there's a crane operator like Ian – making it look seamless.

Quality You Can Rely On

"We go nowhere else for quality like this," the site manager told us. That's the reputation John Sutch Cranes has built – not through hype, but through showing up, doing the work, and getting it done right.

From the biggest infrastructure lifts to the everyday essentials that keep housing projects on track, John Sutch Cranes is powering projects and helping to build communities right across the North West.

Paul Parry, Sales Director at John Sutch Cranes, said:

"Projects like South Parade are the backbone of what we do. Everyone loves the big lifts – and we love doing them – but housing developments like this are where real impact happens. These are homes for families, opportunities for first-time buyers, and stability for communities. Our job is to make sure the cranes, the operators and the service are all there when it matters. Ian and the team did a brilliant job on this one, and it's great to see Liverpool getting the quality housing it needs. We're proud to play our part in that."

Great Site Team. Great Coordination. Great Result.

The South Parade project is a perfect example of what happens when you bring together a committed developer, skilled contractors, and the right lifting partner. The John Sutch team worked seamlessly with the site crew to ensure every lift was safe, efficient and on schedule.

As a Liverpool-headquartered business, there's something extra satisfying about supporting housing developments in our own city. This is home. These are our neighbours. And this is the kind of work that reminds us why we do what we do.

From the Biggest to the Everyday – John Sutch Cranes Delivers

Whether it's a 450-tonne crawler on a major infrastructure project or a 55-tonne mobile crane supporting a housing development, John Sutch Cranes brings the same level of professionalism, safety and expertise to every job.

Because at the end of the day, it's not just about the cranes. It's about the communities we help build, the projects we help deliver, and the people who rely on us to get it done.
