Not only did John Sutch Cranes meet the 39 evidence requirements to achieve the Standard Investors in People (IIP) Accreditation in September 2014, they also met the 76 additional requirements to achieve a Silver award.
“This is a huge achievement for us and we are delighted that our people management has been benchmarked in this way,” comments Andrea Lowrie, HR Manager for John Sutch Cranes.
With its origins as a family owned and run business, John Sutch Cranes still retains many of the core values of a family business, with people, “the team”, being at the centre of their success. With growth came the need for systems which would ensure this ethos propagates throughout the workforce.
In a specialised industry with a need for excellence in Health and Safety practice, this award is one of a range of measures the company uses to ensure its employees are well trained, safe and effective. In turn this has a benefit to customers who are working with a team of motivated and well-informed professionals.
