Giant Lifts for John Sutch Cranes

October 8, 2018

As we bid a final farewell to the Giants, it is hard not to feel a sadness in the goodbye. The 4 day extravaganza between the 4th to the 7th of October 2018 has brought the city together like no other event, with a huge 1.3 Million people turning up over the course of the weekend.

John Sutch Cranes is a Liverpool based company that have been involved during all three of the Giant events that have taken place in the city. Each visit the story evolves and this year was no exception, the addition of New Brighton and a very special surprise guest, the Little Girl Giant turning up for the finale.

“We would like to thank Liverpool City Council for choosing us to participate in the technical lifting of the Giants. To everyone involved, that have worked tirelessly to ensure everything goes to plan with the scenes involving our cranes. We are so proud to be a Liverpool based company that have been able to represent the city on such a large scale. The whole project has been a giant success!”  John Sutch, Managing Director and Hayley Sutch MD Designate of John Sutch Cranes Limited.

We would like to thank all of our employees involved they have gone above and beyond for this project and have been great ambassadors for the company.
