4-Axle Terex Fleet Addition Increases Versatility

January 16, 2017

January 2017 saw John Sutch Cranes take delivery of a 4-axle Terex Demag AC 100-4L All Terrain Crane.

The new 100 tonne crane has a maximum boom length of 59.4 metres and a maximum system length of 81.7 metres. With its width of 2.55m it is the most compact in its class, giving this 4-axle crane access where other cranes can’t go. The company was impressed by the technical advancements and latest developments recently introduced by the manufacturer.

The John Sutch fleet includes several other Terex cranes including 30 tonne, 40 tonne and 55 tonne models.

“This was a welcome opportunity to revisit the Demag brand as part of our ongoing investment programme.  We looked at alternatives and felt the AC 100-4L was the right crane for us.” commented John Sutch, MD.
